Price rates are invited from reputed firms, located at Chandigarh (excluding Manimajra) having sales tax / income tax / VAT number for supplying the entire requirement of stationery and computer stationery articles for the office of the Commission, for one year. Details of the articles and terms and conditions are available on the website of the Commission www.pshrc.net. Offers alongwith samples of all articles (returnable) may be sent by post or handed over personally in a sealed cover to the office of Secretary, Punjab State Human Rights Commission by 21^st Oct., 2009 before 4.00 pm. The offer documents will be opened on 22^nd October, 2009 at 11.00 a.m. in the presence of representatives of the firms and the final approved rates would be displayed on www.pshrc.net website by 4.00 pm on 23^rd Oct., 2009.

Terms and Conditions

The entire stationery and other articles of the approved quality/brand will be supplied at the same rates during the whole year by the firm from the date the quotations / tenders are accepted.
In case rates of some items go up, the firm will continue to supply the items at the original lower rates approved by the Purchase Committee at the time of signing the agreement.
The rates will be FOR destination i.e. office of the Punjab State Human Rights Commission against form ‘D’.
The purchase of the stationery / computer stationery articles will be made on monthly basis or staggered as per requirement.
The Commission has full right to increase / reduce the quantity of the stationery articles mentioned in the web site.

6. In case of any dispute, secretary, Punjab State Human Rights Commission will

appoint the arbitrator.

The lowest bidder will have to deposit Rs. 10,000/- as refundable security towards the fulfilment of agreement.

8 Each bidder would have to deposit Rs. 5000/- as earnest money.

9 As far as possible PSHRC would be making its entire purchase of stationery and computer articles from a single firm approved by it, on the basis of negotiations with the lowest bidder, if required.

10 Rates of articles should be quoted only for the quality/brand, as indicated in the website of the Commission. Bids quoting rates for other brands/ specifications, will be rejected.

11 Offers without sample will also be rejected.
