EMERGENCY WARD
It is having a capacity of 18 beds and at the time of my visit, 14 patients were lying in the Emergency Ward. For 10 patients, the emergency medicines were lying in the store.
HEADLIGHT
Headlight fitted on the Operation Table was out of order.
Water taps fitted in the Emergency Ward were also not working.
CAPACITY OF THE HOSPITAL
It is having a capacity to admit 100 patients, but at the time of my visit, 77 patients were admitted.
DEEP FREEZER
This hospital has 12 Private Rooms and 11 were occupied at the time of my visit. The Phototherapy machines lying in the Private Wards were out of order.
OPERATION THEATRE
There are 2 operation theatres in the hospital, one is reserved for eye and general operation and the other for Ortho. Portable eye microscope was also lying in the hospital. It has life saving medicines for 5 patients lying in the store. This hospital is having laproscopic surgery facility and has also cardiac monitor lying in the hospital. The incubator lying in the hospital was not working. The headlights in the operation theater were not in operation.
MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT
This hospital is having 2 Mobile Medical Units fitted with GRP System.
AMBULANCE
It has been reported that the Ambulance has completed its life. As per norms, an ambulance is required to run upto 2,25,000 kms. whereas the ambulance attached to this hospital has already done 2,80,000 kms.
DOCTORS
This hospital is having 22 doctors out of which 6 are EMOs and 13 are Specialists. There is no Skin Specialist. There is no Radiologist posted in the hospital.
ULTRASOUND AND EX-RAY MACHINES
Due to non-posting of Radiologist, these machines are lying vacant, although it has facility of automatic processor.
CHILDREN WARD
It was not neat and clean, as it should be.
FEMALE WARD
It is having a capacity of 16 Beds, but only 6 patients were lying admitted at the time of my visit. It was also not neat and clean.
There was water logging in the compound.
MALE WARD
It was also not neat and clean. All the Wards were not having glasses fitted on the windows to save the patients from winter. The Wards do not have the facility of stand. Only make shift arrangement has been made to administer glucose and blood to the patients.
PARKING
There is no specific parking in the hospital.
SECURITY
There is no security arrangement except one Chwokidar.
LABOUR ROOM
It was neat and clean. In a room, 2 water coolers were lying which were out of order.
DRINKING WATER
FACILITY
This hospital is having no proper drinking water facility.
ICTV CENTRE
Although this hospital is having ICTV Centre, but without any counsellor.
JAN AUSHDHI
This hospital is having Jan Aushdhalya but only 40-60 slips come in a day.
OPD
It has been reported that about 400 patients used to come to the hospital.
TB CENTRE
This is without District Level Programme Officer.
BLOOD BANK
150 units were lying in the Blood Bank. Platelet agitator and incubator were yet not installed in the hospital. The fridge supplied to the Blood Bank under IDSP Scheme was not in operation. The fridge lying in the Bank was not properly functioning.
LABORATORY
Semi auto analyzer was out of order.
Auto analyzer facility has not been provided in the hospital.
Hot oven was also not working.
MORTUARY
No facility of defreezer was there in the mortuary. Lights, AC were not working in the mortuary. No provision to provide ice etc. for unidentified dead bodies.
RESIDENCE/QUARTERS OF STAFF
As per report submitted by the Staff
present, it needs heavy repairs as no repair has been done for the last 10
years in the quarters and residences provided to the staff.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Necessary arrangement be made to make the hospital neat and clean. Proper stands be provided to the hospital which are used to give glucose and blood to the patients.
Headlights inoperative should be made operative.
The taps fitted in the hospital be also made operative.
Phototherapy machine lying inoperative be made operative.
The incubator be made operative.
Non-operative headlights be made operative.
The hospital be attached with headlight system.
The hospital should be provided with the
facilities of
A new ambulance be provided to the hospital as the old one has already completed its kilometers.
Skin specialists, radiologists be posted in the hospital.
Proper parking facility be provided in the hospital.
Security be also provided in the hospital.
To save the indoor patients from cold, proper arrangement in the wards should be made.
Proper drinking water facility be provided in the hospital.
ICTV Centre should have a counselor.
The awareness campaign to take benefit of Jan Aushdhi should be made.
District Level Officer should be posted in T.B.Centre.
Tele Medicine facility be provided in the hospital.
The instruments lying inoperative in the Laboratory and World Bank be made operative.
Auto analyzer be provided in the Laboratory. Defreezer, AC and Electric Tubes and Bulbs be provided in the mortuary.
Necessary repair be conducted in the residential houses of the staff.
Defreezers lying in the hospital be shifted to the hospitals where they are needed.
